Anchor Bolt, also known as foundation bolt or anchor bolt, is a fastener used to fix a structure to a concrete foundation.
It is usually made of steel, with one end threaded and the other end anchored in concrete.
The main characteristic of anchor bolts is their anchoring part, which forms a strong connection in the concrete.
7 Style Carbon Steel Anchor Bolts, as the name suggests, are important bolts used to fix the foundation of a building.
Usually composed of bolts, nuts, washers, locking washers, etc., to ensure the stability and safety of the building.
The 7-shaped anchor bolt is a commonly used connector, named after the shape of the bolt head, presenting a shape similar to the number “7”.
The diameter of this type of bolt is usually between 10mm and 24mm, and the length depends on actual needs.
The characteristics of the 7-shaped anchor bolt are simple structure and convenient installation.
It is suitable for buildings with relatively hard foundations and good geological conditions, such as steel structures, frame structures, etc.
During installation, it is necessary to first thread the bolt through the pre drilled hole,
then install the nut and washer on the other side, and finally tighten it to achieve the appropriate tightening force.
In order to ensure the structural safety of buildings, the selection, design,
and installation of 7-shaped anchor bolts need to be carried out in accordance with relevant standards. In addition,
regular maintenance and inspections are required to ensure the tightening status and connection performance of bolts.
7 Style Carbon Steel Anchor Bolts Installation method
1. One time embedding method: When pouring concrete, embed the anchor bolts.
When high towers are controlled by inclination, the anchor bolts should be buried in one go method
2. Reserved hole method: The equipment is in place, the holes are cleaned, the anchor bolts are placed in the holes,
the equipment is positioned and aligned, and then poured with non shrinkage fine stone concrete one level higher than the original foundation, and compacted.
The distance between the center of the anchor bolt buried in one go and the edge of the foundation should not be less than 4d (d is the diameter of the anchor bolt),
and should not be less than 150mm (when d ≤ 20, it should not be less than 100mm). It should not be less than half of the width of the anchor plate plus 50mm.
When the above requirements cannot be met, appropriate measures should be taken to strengthen it. The diameter of the anchor bolts used in the structure should not be less than 20mm.
When subjected to seismic action, double nuts should be used for fixation, or other effective measures should be taken to prevent loosening.
However, the anchorage length of the anchor bolts should be increased by 5d compared to the anchorage length under non seismic action.
The installation plan for anchor bolts is as follows: If the anchor bolts become loose inside the foundation, they may be pulled out when tightening the anchor bolts.
