Product Structure & Material Details

Each complete wire rope clip consists of three core components: one U-bolt, one malleable iron saddle, and two hex lock nuts.

1. U-bolt: Made of high-quality carbon steel, precision threaded for smooth nut tightening. The curved U shape perfectly fits the outer diameter of the wire rope, applying uniform pressure to the cable. The galvanized surface prevents rust and oxidation.
2. Malleable Iron Saddle (Base): This is the key load-bearing part of the clip. It is manufactured from malleable cast iron, featuring high toughness and impact resistance. The inner arc is precisely machined to match wire rope dimensions, protecting the wire rope strands from sharp crushing damage. Important installation reminder: The saddle must be placed on the load-bearing side of the wire rope, and the U-bolt sits on the dead end of the cable, to avoid damaging the main load rope.
3. Hexagon Lock Nuts: Carbon steel hex nuts with standard threads. They stay fastened under vibration and static load, preventing loosening during service.
